The Sidney Police Department along with Sidney-Shelby County Crime Stoppers is seeking assistance from the public.
On December 20 2018 a Shelby County Grand Jury handed down an indictment for the arrest of Todd T Freeman (38). The arrest warrant charges Freeman with one count of Rape a felony of the 1st degree.
On September 6 2018 the Sidney Police Department started an investigation in regards to Freeman having sexual conduct with a girl under the age of 13. Shortly after the investigation started Freeman left his Sidney residence located at 503 N. Main Ave. leaving behind most of his belongings. He has not been heard from or seen since then.
Freeman is a black male, 38 years old, 6’4” inches in height and approx. 180 pounds. He drives a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee silver in color bearing Ohio registration HHK2221.
Anyone with information about Freeman’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 937-492-TIPS (8477) or the Sidney Police Department at 937-498-2351. Sidney-Shelby County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $500 for information leading to the arrest and apprehension of Freeman. Callers will remain anonymous.
The funds used for Crime Stoppers’ rewards are raised through donations and Municipal Court fines. Tax dollars are not used to pay rewards.
