(10-19-18) On October 1st the Celina Police Department issued a warning on Cory Gross (36) as being armed and dangerous. Today Gross was booked into the Auglaize County Correctional Facility for TRAFFICKING IN DRUGS_SELL OR OFFER TO SELL, which is a 4th degree Felony.
The CPD said on the 1st that he had a hand gun, a bullet proof vest and has threatened death by suicide. At that time he was wanted in Auglaize and Shelby Counties on drug related charges.

On 10-19-2018, Deputies with the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on S.R. 703. During the course of the traffic stop, Deputies learned there was a passenger, hiding in the vehicle, and was armed. After multiple attempts, Deputies made contact with the subject and the subject came out of hiding. The subject was later placed into custody without further incident.
The subject was identified as Cory D. Gross DOB 09-12-1982. Cory had outstanding warrants for his arrest for 3 counts of Possession of Drugs. All 3 counts are Felony of the 4th degree.
Cory is also wanted by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio, for Violation of a Court Order. Cory is also wanted by the State of Missouri for Property Damage.
No bail has been set at this time.
