BJ Woodruff

The Mercer County District Library will host a meet and greet with local author, B. J. Woodruff on Tuesday, October 23 at 6:00 pm.  She is the author of “Glimpses of Life” which presents certain aspects of her life written in poetry rather than straight prose.  She will be discussing why she chose to use that format for her book and will have copies available that evening.

Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Capital University and a master’s degree from Wright State University. As a teacher she worked with 8th graders in St. Henry. She taught math, health, physical education and developed a psychology class for juniors and seniors.  She also coached and played volleyball.  In 2000, she retired from teaching.

Registration is required online at or by calling the library at 419-586-4442.

The program is sponsored by the Mercer County District Library and the Friends of the Library, Celina.
