The Mercer County District Library will be hosting a meet and greet with Brian Anderson, author of All of Us Saturday, August 25 from 10-11 a.m. While at the library, Mr. Anderson will be signing copies of his book.
All of Us is the story of how one family was built according to God’s plan through a mixture of biological children, international adoption, and foster care to adoption. This story narrates the obstacles faced, the hurdles crossed, the fears encountered, the tests of faith, all culminating in a family’s desperate and agonizing fight against the injustice thrust upon them by a broken foster care system as a little girl was ripped away from the only family she had ever known – leading to a community rallying in support to “Bring Maddy Home”. From Celina, Ohio, to Seoul, South Korea, from foster care to adoption to an Ohio Supreme Court case, All of Us follows the path that lead to the creation of a family and tells a true story of love, faith, and determination to always advocate for what is right for a child, no matter the cost.
