(6-12-18) Celina’s plastic manufacturing plant Versa Pak hopes to be done with its most recent expansion project in late July.

The current facility is located east of Celina at 500 Staeger Road and has a 36,000-square-foot warehouse with 74,000 square feet of manufacturing space. By the end of the project, the facility will have an additional 34,000-square-foot warehouse.

The new warehouse is to help with the operation of the newest equipment being added the 5-Layer Co-Ex Line technology that will help with quality in their plastic film production.

The 5-Layer Co-Ex Line will replace the company’s current 3-layer Co-Extrusion Line.

In addition to the warehouse expansion, the company has added four new silos to bring the total to 28 for resin supply.

This is the sixth expansion project for Versa Pak over the past 10 years. The facility has expanded from 25,000 total square feet to more than 110,000 square feet.
