May 29, 2018, Celina, OH – Celina Insurance Group recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to local 2018 graduates. The award recipients are Olivia Harlamert – Coldwater High School, Jacob Meyer – Coldwater High School, and Alexis Noll – Celina High School.

The scholarship certificates were presented to the graduating seniors during an awards reception held at Celina Insurance Group on May 23, 2018.

Olivia is the daughter of Brian and Trisha Harlamert, Coldwater. She will be attending the University of Toledo this fall to pursue a major in Marketing and Management.

Jacob is the son of Brenda and Dan Meyer, Coldwater. He will be attending The Ohio State University this fall, majoring in Computer Science.

Alexis is the daughter of Tish and Greg Noll, Celina. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Celina Insurance Group established the scholarship for graduating seniors pursuing a degree relating to the insurance business. Seniors in Auglaize or Mercer County or a child/grandchild of a current Celina Insurance Group employee were eligible to apply. The top three applicants were selected based on a written essay touting the benefits of property and casualty insurance in regard to promoting the economic health of the United States.

Bill Montgomery, Celina Insurance Group President and CEO, noted:

“We are pleased to join with our staff in awarding these scholarships to Olivia, Jacob, and Alexis. We want to encourage young people to consider embarking on a career in the property & casualty insurance field and returning to this area.”
