The body of 6 year old Rylan Ferguson, who attended Fairlawn Elementary, has been recovered about two miles from where he entered the creek. Rylan was standing on loose ground playing with a nerf gun near the water when he fell in.
The young boy has been identified by his parents after searchers recovered his body from the creek this morning at around 10:30am.

Deputies said the search for the search for a 6-year-old boy who fell into water is now considered a recovery.
Rescue crews will return Monday morning to continue looking for the boy, who has not been identified.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office earlier reported that a 6-year-old boy was suspected to have fallen into the Tawawa Creek (see note below) while he was playing with a friend along the riverbank.
The search started tonight around 5:45 p.m. near the the Hidden Hill Mobile Park located in Pasco at the 5800 block of SR 29. (Note: 1st reports said the Great Miami but it does does not flow thru Pasco, but the Tawawa Creek does)
The search included boats in the water, individuals watching at bridges around the river south from Sidney to the Miami County line. Also taking part in the search was a helicopter with night-vision equipment from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The name of the child has not yet been released.
