(2-6-18) The troubles facing Grand Lake are now being used to help others to fix their water issues.  The problem facing Grand Lake is just a local issue it is also an issue face around the US.

Recent procedures in the water quality improvements in the local lake are now a focus at the National level.

A recent posting by the Journal of Enviromental Quality highlights the process of what has been taking place at Grand Lake with management issues concerning the problem, including the treatment trains.

Thanks to local groups, including the Lake Restoration Commission and other community groups, the local lake is fast becoming the ‘poster child’ of lakes with major algae issues.

Local residents are becoming encouraged by the changes taking place and now others are hoping to benefit from that in the future.
