
(12-28-17) Four Toledo teenagers accused (12-19-17) of killing Marquise Byrd, 22, with the fatal toss of a sandbag onto I-75 appeared Wednesday in Lucas County Juvenile Court. Each teen has entered a denial to charges of murder and vehicular vandalism.

All four remain held at the downtown Toledo detention center while their cases proceed.

(12-20-17) Marquise Byrd of Warren, Michigan is in critical condition after four teens (13-14 yrs old) threw items from the Indiana Street overpass onto southbound I-75 Tuesday night in Toledo around 10pm.

Byrd was a front seat passenger in the vehicle when police say a sandbag struck the windshield and entered the vehicle, hitting Byrd.
The four juveniles are charged with felonious assault and were booked in the Lucas County Juvenile Detention Center. This morning they each entered a denial to the charge, but will remain in the detention center for now.
