(9-1-17) – You can now view City Council minutes on the City of Celina web page –

updated minutes have been added (9-1-17)

(8-31-17) Two days after announcing that approved council minutes would be posted on the City website, there still are no approved minutes on the site.  A non-working link for 2017 is on the page.

Media members were sent in the 8-29-17 email  – Council Minutes that were approved 8/14/17 & 8/28/17 by Council, but they have not been posted on the city site. The OUTLOOK contacted the city and asked for the link with the approved minutes on the 29th, no reply as of this morning.

Other local media sources have not reported on this issue of withholding this information from Celina residents.

Attached are the Council Minutes that were approved 8/14/17 & 8/28/17 by Council. Approved Council Minutes can also be found on the City’s Website.

Celina citizens can now keep up with ‘approved’ council minutes, plus it is noted that minutes after June 26th have been added as well.

(8-28-17) Today for the second time in a row media members (those listed on email sent to the Outlook, include WCSM and Daily Standard) were not sent Celina City Council minutes from the most recent meeting, just tonight’s agenda.

The process in the past has been to include the agenda and minutes from the meetings in the email correspondence to those interested in receiving them, council members, media and those who request it. To make matters worse the past two months of minutes have not been posted on the city’s web site, the last update posted was from the June 26th meeting.

Interesting that the lack of minutes showing up came after an Outlook story  ‘60 Years To Complete New Celina Park Project‘ that posted information on the new Mercelina Park District plans.
