Missy McClurg posted on Facebook about the incident:

We woke up to a nightmare of Alli screaming “Mom, he’s in my room” and Gregg and I chased a stranger out of our house. We’ve been up all night with the sheriff, police, detectives, etc. who have been wonderful. But someone got into her room, shut her door, put a hand over her mouth and told her shhh. Thank God she screamed for us. I’m so heartbroken this happened, girls are traumatized and we’ll be getting a new dog and deluxe security system today but I just want everyone to know something like this can happen in our small town, please keep your family safe!

The suspect is described as having short, dark hair with patches of facial hair. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact the Delphos Police Department at 419-692-4015.
