COLUMBUS, Ohio – July 21, 2017 – On July 11, Governor John R. Kasich reappointed Vice-Chair James (Jim) Dicke II of New Bremen and Jon D. Holt of Dayton to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) board for terms ending July 1, 2022.
One other board member, Robert (Robb) Hankins of Canton, was also reappointed to a term ending in 2022. Mr. Hankins is president and chief executive officer of ArtsinStark, Stark County’s arts council.

Mr. Dicke is the chairman and CEO of Crown Equipment Corporation, the fifth-largest manufacturer of industrial forklifts in the world. Among many other community and business achievements, he is chairman emeritus at the Dayton Art Institute, an honoree of the National Academy of Design, and recently served on the Smithsonian National Board and as chairman of commissions of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Mr. Dicke is also an accomplished artist and photographer, an art collector, and the 2007 recipient of the Governor’s Awards for the Arts in the Arts Patron category.
