Partington has chosen to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Toledo; Prenger has been accepted into the University of Cincinnati for interior design; and Ebbing plans to attend the University of Cincinnati for construction management.

CEO Eric Baltzell

“The Garmann Miller scholarship program allows us to invest in our industry’s future innovators. We are proud to support their educational journeys and look forward to seeing their contributions to these vital fields.”

GM’s scholarship program was started in 2021 by the firm’s Game Changers committee, a volunteer group of employees who plan and perform philanthropic endeavors. Each year, the Game Changers reach out to area guidance counselors to encourage graduating seniors pursuing careers in the architecture, engineering and construction industry to apply.

Eligible students were those intending to pursue studies related to professional design services, such as architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering, landscape architecture and interior design, as well as communication, marketing and graphic design. GM developed an application that challenged students to answer essay questions about their future career path and goals.
