(4-29-24) The Mercer County Youth to Youth recently honored the youth for their volunteer and leadership service. Since last year at this time, we had 19 Y2Y students earn volunteer hours. They completed hours during a range of activities including cleaning up the drive-in, leading the DARE kids day games at the fair, as well as volunteering at a food drive in Lima, teaching at Celina’s 3-6 grade health fair, and leading our two Retreats.

The youth had a total of 494.1 volunteer hours.

Our last regular meeting of the school year will be Monday, May 13 from 6-8 pm at the Clubhouse, 221 S Buckeye Street, Celina. We will be playing outdoor games (weather permitting) and eating a lot of yummy food. We will also welcome any new attendees. 6th grade students will be invited this day along with our 7-12 grade students!

Mercer County Youth to Youth group consists of youth coming together to rise above the effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs and peer pressure, bullying and suicide.
