(4-24-24) The Friends of the Mercer County District Library will be having the first book sale of the year.

The event will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, and Saturday, May 4, 2024. The hours of the book sale are Friday, May 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The book sale is in the Book Barn across the alley to the north of the library and behind Marilyn Frahm Memorial Park.

On Saturday, May 4, there is a bag sale for the whole day. You buy one blue library bag for $3.00 and fill it full with any adult or children’s books. DVDs and music CDs are included as well.

The funds from the Friends of the Library book sale help with the expenses for the children, teen, and adult summer reading programs.
