(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) is pleased to share that the Ohio Controlling Board approved two projects on Monday, including funding for Cut-Rite Manufacturing and the City of Celina’s Tree Program.
Cut-Rite Manufacturing, a machine shop specializing in waterjet services to agriculture, automotive, and machine shop industries, will receive a $520,000 low-interest loan to construct a new facility, ultimately boosting the local economy by facilitating business growth and employment.
King said-
“I’m grateful for the state’s continued support of our district and its commitment to investing in the businesses that keep our rural economy strong. This investment in Cut-Rite Manufacturing fuels growth, strengthens our workforce, and builds opportunity in Ohio’s 84th District.”
In addition, the City of Celina’s Tree Program will receive $50,000 in reimbursement for updating the tree ordinance, planting trees, and forestry maintenance. These funds were originally awarded by the US Department of Agriculture and the US Forest Service, with reimbursement through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry.
King said-
“The $50,000 investment in Celina’s tree program will enhance the streetscapes and provide lasting improvements to the overall appearance and character of the community for generations to come.”
