Stateline Writer’s Club News Release –

April 6, 2026 – For Immediate Release

The Stateline Writer’s Club met on March 14, 2026 in the lower level meeting room of the Celina Library. They discussed the Grand Lake Area Literature Festival. Plans were finalized for the table.

The Literature Festival was well attended, and the members were able to meet some prospective new members.

The next meeting is on Saturday April 18. This month, we are bringing our laptops and talking about using our computers with our writing. A guest librarian will provide instruction.

The meeting will begin at 9:45am to have extra time for this.

The members can choose from two writing prompts: “You decided to go on a road trip by yourself….” Or “Your parents tell you that they actually don’t know whose child you are.” As always, a writer can choose an individual topic.

The club meets on the third Saturday of the month at the Celina/Mercer County Library.

The Stateline Writer’s Club seeks to encourage local writers by support and fellowship. Any interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
