The Rockford American Legion and Sons Post 508 invite you to participate in our new
patriotic community project and fundraiser called for Avenue of Flags.  It’s a wonderful
opportunity to honor America on our 250th Anniversary, honor veterans and support
your local American Legion Post.  You will be a part of a community wide display of
national and local civic pride.

The project —  For just $60/year the Rockford Legion will deliver and place a high quality 3′ x 5′ American Flag on a 10′ pole within 15′ of the street in front of your home prior to these National Holidays:  Memorial Day, Flag Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day.   

The Legion will retrieve them shortly after each holiday.  The Legion is responsible for the replacement of the flag and proper storage.  If you wish to display more than one flagpole at the same location, you will receive a $10
discount per flag.  

If you don’t have space to display a flagpole, but want to participate in the program, you can sponsor one or multiple flags to be placed at Hedges Veterans Memorial for $50 each.  

The Rockford American Legion donates the American Flags that are displayed on Rockford’s
Main Street lamp posts.  If you live outside of the area and would like to make a donation
to these flags, you can do that too.

Post 508 also has high quality American, Ohio, and POW flags (made in the USA) , for sale
at our canteen on Monday, Thursday, and Friday evenings – located at 105 W Bridge St, Rockford, OH  

To participate and place your order, scan the QR Code on the form, and it will take you to the catalog of flags to place and pay for your order. 

Order information can also be picked up at the Rockford Village Hall.
