(3-28-26) Van Wert High School’s Meah Johnson was crowned Peony Queen Jubilee 51.

The annual event was held last night at the Lifehouse Church in Van Wert.

She also won the $500 Talent scholarship and a $100 scholarship for being Most Photogenic. Meah sang “I Know Where I’ve Been” from Hairspray. She also won in two other categories – a $500 scholarship as the talent winner and a $100 scholarship for most photogenic.

Crestview: Emily Lichtle – Runner-up, Miss Congeniality

Vantage Career Center: Chloe Nielsen

By winning the crown Meah received a $1,500 scholarship… over $5,000 in scholarships were awarded last night.

Two other winners were crowned at Friday night’s pageant– Lowen Maxey was named Little Miss (K-2) and Hazel Giessler (grades 3-5) was named Junior Miss.
