(3-27-26) graf-X-cape is recent addition to the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, but not a new business. It is a graphic design and marketing consulting company started in 2003 by David Trisel, Rockford native and Parkway High School grad. Trisel likes to say he “specializes in logo design, but then helps small business with anything they want that logo on.”

This design agency joined the chamber after helping with several projects for the Village of Rockford – contributing design time and marketing materials for the newly re-branded Rocktoberfest, Rockford HollyDay, and the upcoming Rockford’s Spring Fling. If community members have noticed an uptick in the branding efforts coming from the chamber’s office, they can thank graf-X-cape for the time and talent shared for the benefit of Rockford.

With clients spread across the country: Wisconsin to Florida and New York, most are right here in Ohio. Since returning to Rockford, Trisel has been making inroads with local organizations and gaining a following here. Aside from logo design, graf-X-cape offers printing and promotional items, apparel, signage and banners – even social media and digital marketing administration. Who needs some custom socks or temporary tattoos? Business cards and pens? The most unique thing Trisel says he has designed for a client are custom tags for wildlife remediation traps. The largest logo produced? The anhydrous tank in Neptune, OH.

With a degree in communication arts and public relations, a masters in liberal studies and 30 years of experience in design and practical production, graf-X-cape is well versed in what area businesses need to recharge their marketing efforts.
