(3-27-26) According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol four young adults were killed after the pick-up truck they were traveling in went off the roadway, struck a tree and then became partially submerged in a pond.

The single-vehicle crash happened at about 10:40 p.m. on SR 18 near County Road 48, just west of Tiffin in Seneca County.

Hermoiney Greenler (19) Bucyrus, was eastbound on SR 18, where she lost control of her vehicle.

Greenler and her passengers, Madison Yates (21) and Jonathan Bowling (22) both of Tiffin, passed away to fatal injuries at the scene as a result of the crash. 

A fourth passenger, Alexzandria Hickle (22) also of Tiffin, was transported by ground ambulance to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital where she also passed away due to her injuries.

Hickle was the only one wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
