Greenville, Ohio (3-17-26) — The Greenville Public Library is pleased to announce a special program featuring author and columnist Pamela Loxley Drake on Monday, April 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A former resident of Greenville, Ohio, Drake will present an engaging author talk and book signing centered on her memoir Neff Road. The book offers a heartfelt and vivid account of her upbringing in rural Ohio, capturing the essence of farm life, family, and the landscapes that shaped her early years.

Drake is best known for her long-running newspaper column, “Neff Road,” which became a beloved feature during her tenure with the Greenville Daily Advocate from 2009 to 2020. Her writing reflects the rhythms of small-town living, exploring themes of nature, agriculture, and personal experience. Now based in Beaverton, Oregon, she continues to write and publish, contributing to the Valley Times since 2022 and most recently to the Forest Grove News-Times through 2025.

During the program, attendees will have the opportunity to hear Drake discuss her journey as a writer, the inspiration behind Neff Road, and the enduring influence of her rural Ohio roots. A book signing will follow the presentation, with copies of Neff Roadavailable for purchase.
