Dr. James Luedeke, Primary Care Physician at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, for the 2026 Healthcare Worker of the Year Award presented by the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA).
Dr. Luedeke exemplifies the very best of community healthcare. For more than four decades, he has been a trusted physician, mentor, and neighbor throughout west-central Ohio, caring for generations of families with compassion and dedication. His steady leadership and patient-first approach have left a meaningful and lasting impact on the individuals and communities he serves.
Throughout his career, Dr. Luedeke has provided care in Family Medicine and Chronic Wound Care and has served multiple terms as Chief of Staff at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. In addition to his clinical work, he has helped shape the next generation of physicians as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
