(2-27-26) On Saturday, February 14 four Jay County High School exchange students competed at the Academic World Quest event held at the University of Indianapolis.
Academic World Quest is a competition sponsored by the Indiana Council on World Affairs. Students compete in 10 rounds of 8 multiple-choice questions, each on a variety of topics related to world trade, politics, and peace, such as tariffs and trade, coffee and chocolate, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Pop Culture, and Soft Powers.

The photos show Matteo Bellantonio from Italy, Fatine Lamziouaq from Morocco, Mouadh Nhaili from Tunisia, and Anja Vujnovic from Montenegro at their team table and at a coffee stop at the German Heidelberg Haus.

The whole group of participants was photographed by Denis Kelly Jr., World Photography, at the Schwitzer Student Center at UIndy and included students from Brownsburg HS, Carmel HS, Logansport HS, Eman Schools in Fishers, Legacy Learning Center Indianapolis, Coventry Christian HS Indianapolis, and Jay County HS.
