(2-26-26) Two programs at St. Marys Memorial….FFA members had State Proficiency Finalists and St. Marys DECA had qualifiers for the International Career Development Conference.

  • 1st Place winners include: Ady VanDeKeere, Audri Chorvas, and Eva Ruth
  • 3rd Place winners include: Maddie Albright and Mataya Patterson
  • SBE Gold winners: Chloe Fisher and Olivia Albright
  • Virtual Business challenge winners: Vasu Marakana, Korey Klosterman, and Own Lee

St. Marys DECA competing at the State competition had 28 students advance to the state finals and some have already qualified for the International Competition later this year.

St. Marys FFA had 3 students recognized as State Proficiency Finalists. They have placed in the top 4 in the State of Ohio.

Hannah Brackman – Vegetable Production…Hannah raises vegetable plants and fresh produce for customers, managing production from seed to sale.

Ava Klosterman – Diversified HorticultureAva grows and sells mums while also working at HDL, where she answers phones, loads customer trucks, and helps manage inventory.

Owen Ott – Fiber &/or Oil Crop Production..Owen bales and sells small square straw bales to customers — with buyers traveling from as far as Kentucky!
