From the Montezuma Volunteer Fire Department

(2-24-26) Please plan to make alternate routes for the next few months while the bridge is out on 219 in Montezuma.

As a department we have a plan in place to to continue providing emergency services without interruption. While the roadway is closed, we have:
✅️Established alternate response routes
✅️Coordinated with neighboring departments for coverage if needed
✅️Reviewed access points to ensure rapid response times

Our priority is – and always will be – the safety of our community. Please continue to call 911 in the event of an emergency. We are always ready to respond.
