(2-16-26) Today on social media Eichar-DeCurtins VFW, Commander Paige Shivers, Quartermaster Jim Babcock and members Karl Hagaman and Mort Ward announced a $15,000 donation to cover the cost of a bus for the upcoming Celina 8th grade Washington, D.C. trip.

The VFW members statement-

– We are especially honored to be the First sponsor to commit to funding one bus each year for the foreseeable future to help ease the cost for our Celina students!

Investing in our students means investing in the future of our community. Educational trips like this create lifelong memories, deepen understanding of our nation’s history, and provide opportunities many families may not otherwise be able to afford.
