Superintendent Rick Turner

“This is an exciting time at Vantage as we celebrate our 50th anniversary along with the Open House and Taste of Vantage. It’s not only a time to reflect on the success of our students over the past 50 years, but also to look ahead to the next 50 and anticipate even greater success as our business and community relationships continue to evolve to meet the technological needs of today’s workforce. It’s also exciting to see sophomores and their parents visiting our programs and beginning that journey with Vantage Career Center over the next few years.”

Following the ceremony, Vantage hosted its Open House and Taste of Vantage, welcoming hundreds of community members and prospective students to campus. High school sophomores and their families explored 19 career-technical programs, spoke with instructors, viewed student demonstrations, and connected with employer and college partners. Adult Education staff were also available to assist graduating seniors and adult learners interested in advancing their careers in health, manufacturing, and public safety fields.

Taste of Vantage was held in the Commons Area during the Open House, featuring food samples from restaurant partners and the Vantage Culinary Arts program. Participating restaurants included Black Angus Catering, Moose Landing Country Club, Millie’s, R Place Stone and Grill, and SaiSaki Van Wert.
