(2-7-26) On February 6, 2026 at approximately 9:19 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the 8700 block of Horatio Harris Creek Road, Bradford, in reference to a single vehicle injury accident.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Ford F-250 was traveling east on Horatio Harris Creek Road when the juvenile operator lost control after traveling across drifted snow in the roadway. The juvenile ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

There was a total of three teens in the vehicle including the driver. Owen Shaffer (18) of Greenville, Ohio, Marissa Hicks (18) of Greenville, Ohio, and Jaliegh Hummel (18) of Greenville, Ohio were also passengers in the vehicle.

All of the occupants in the vehicle went to Wayne Healthcare. None of the occupants sustained life-threatening injuries.
