Obituaries
Henry M. Eicher, 50, of Bryant, Indiana, passed away at 3:53 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on State Road 67 and 550 East in Bryant, Indiana. He was born on November 18, 1975, to Paul V. Eicher and Margaret G. (Schwartz) Eicher. On August 20, 1998, Henry married Kathy M. Schwartz. He is of the Old Order Amish Church.
Henry is survived by wife, Kathy M. Eicher, Sons: Henry M. Eicher (Special Friend, Elsie Eicher), William H. Eicher (Specical Friend, Ida Christner), Ernest H. Eicher, James H. Eicher, and Jacob H. Eicher, all of the home; Daughters: Amanda Wickey (Samuel), of Geneva, Kathy Schwartz (Michael), of Geneva, Clara H. Eicher (Special Friend, Joseph Wickey), Margaret H. Eicher, Elaine H. Eicher, and Barbara H. Eicher, all at home; daughter-in-law Rose Eicher (Menno H.) of Portland; eight grandchildren; brothers: Menno M. Eicher (Christine) of Bryant; Paul M. Eicher (Barbara) of Portland; Jacob M. Eicher (Elaine) of Bryant; Joe M. Eicher (Rachel) of Bryant; Benjamin M. Eicher (Mary) of Portland; and Ernest M. Eicher (Katie) of Connersville, Indiana; sisters: Marie Wengerd (Jake) of Geneva; Margaret Schwartz (Jake) of Geneva; Ida Girod (Daniel) of Bryant; Elizabeth Schwartz (William) of Bryant; Barbara Eicher of Bryant; Lovina Eicher (Ben) of Salem, Indiana; Viola Eicher (Sam) of Berne; Susan Wickey (Enos) of Bryant; and Christine Wickey (Jonathan) of Bryant. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Katie Schwartz, along with numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Menno H. Eicher and Paul H. Eicher; a stillborn daughter, Viola; his sister, Verena; and his father-in-law, Menno G. Schwartz.
Viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026 and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the family home. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2026, with Bishop Samuel J. Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Downing and Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva, Indiana.

He was born on Monday, September 25, 2000, in Adams Co, IN. He married Rose E. (Troyer) Eicher on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Menno was of the Old Order Amish Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rose E. (Troyer) Eicher, Portland, IN, mother, Kathy (Schwartz) Eicher, Bryant, IN, two sons – Menno Eicher Jr., and Simon Eicher, both of Portland, IN, brothers – Henry Eicher Jr., William Eicher, Ernest Eicher, James Eicher, Jacob Eicher, all of Bryant, IN, sisters, Amanda (Samuel) Wickey, Geneva, IN, Kathy (Michael) Schwartz, Geneva, IN, Clara Eicher, Bryant, IN, Margaret Eicher, Elaine Eicher, Bryant, IN, Barbara Eicher, Bryant, IN, parents -in-law, Simon & Elizabeth Troyer, Geneva, IN, and grandmother, Katie Schwartz, Berne, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry M. Eicher, brother, Paul H. Eicher, sister, Viola H. Eicher, paternal grandparents, Paul & Margaret Eicher, and maternal grandfather – Menno G. Schwartz.
Visitation will be held at the Eicher Residence located at 3088 E. 800 N. Bryant on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM at the Eicher Residence on Sunday, February 8, 2026 with Bishop William L. Christner officiating. Interment will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery in Bryant.
