(1-29-26) On Wed January 28 at 2:53 pm Ossian Fire and Wells County EMS were dispatched to 1200 N and 600 E for a personal injury accident.

At the same time a second Ambulance run was dispatched in Ossian. Fire 61 had Medic 3 divert to the medical call and requested Southwest Fire/EMS station 5 (POE) respond with Rescue 6 to the crash.

Once crews arrived crews stabilized the car to prevent it from sliding down the steep embankment. R6 removed the door and the patient was extricated.

Medic 105 transported the patient to Lutheran in serious condition.


Wells County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene
