(1-27-26) On Tuesday Jan 27th, at 9:57 am., the Celina Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in a two-story home at 4505 Nicholson Dr. in Jefferson Twp.  The City of St Mary’s Fire Dept. responded for mutual aide. Upon arrival, crews observed a working fire with heavy smoke venting from a second-floor window at the back of the residence.

 All residents were reported to be out of the home on arrival. Fire crews initiated an interior attack and successfully extinguished the fire. Fire damage was contained to the room of origin with smoke damage throughout the home.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Nine firefighters from Celina along with four from St Mary’s responded to the incident. The Celina Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Celina Water Department, AEP Electric, and Enbridge Gas Company.
