(1-18-26) Throughout the basketball season, the Fort Recovery Academic Boosters will recognize seven deserving students for their commitment to excellence beyond the athletic playing surface. These students receive a plaque as well as a $20 Merchant Gift Certificate.
Giving the award tonight was English teacher Nicole Fennig and High School Guidance Counselor and Academic Booster Representative Amy Kaiser.
The winner of tonight’s Academic Booster Award in English was Indian senior Hayden Siefring. Hayden is hardworking, respectful and an exemplary leader among his peers. His participation in class, positive attitude and overall effort make him a valuable member of class and deserving of this award.
Outside of the classroom, Hayden participates in Baseball and FFA.
Hayden is the son of Joe and Amy Siefring. He plans to work on his family farm after graduation.
