(1-17-26) And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Isreal had light in their dwellings. (Exodus 10: 22-23)
God has a way of showing up for his people in the darkest, most dismal moments of life. Just when it looks like it’s all over… BUT GOD! I guess that’s what happens when you’re madly in love with someone. You will refuse to not help. God’s love for us is the binding force that won’t let him leave us alone.
In the book of Psalms, David wrote “If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou are there”(Psalm 139:8). We all have “made our beds in hell” by making poor decisions. We have found ourselves in situations that we never should have been in. However, God never left our side. That’s why we must always remain thankful to Him.
Just a few days ago, I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me concerning the new year. During my quiet time with the Lord I heard Him say: exponential growth. The first thing that came to mind is a business chart that curved upward.
Next, I just sat quiet and meditated. God, what are you saying to me?
Just like during the time when darkness covered the land in Egypt so it is now. The way of wickedness is raising its head in every way possible. The “God haters” are louder than ever. Righteousness and truth is made fun of. None of that moves God. He has a plan, and you are involved. There will be a performance of that which he has shown you.
I believe that the time is NOW. God needs for that dream, that invention, that career, and that idea to come to the past NOW. Don’t be satisfied with just getting it started. God is going to accelerate it and that is where the exponential growth will take place! I know this may sound like a lot, but we must remember we serve a BIG God!
Here is the verse that God gave me for this season:
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time. (Isaiah 60:22)
Don’t quit now. Stay in His Word. Glory!
