2025 Year in Review
2025 was a year for the record books for the Celina Fire Department. CFD surpassed the highest call volume in department history with a total of 2,413 calls for service (2,061 EMS and 352 fire). This is averaging around 6.5 calls per day.
In 2025 Lieutenant Chris Cline retired, which allowed for the promotion of Firefighter Aaron Beougher to Lieutenant.
Beougher Promoted To Lieutenant
Further, we promoted Firefighter Brian Davis to Chief.
With the help of the county EMS levy, CFD was able to increase staffing levels from 5 personnel per shift to 6. With that, we saw 6 new firefighters join the department. Most of these new members will be working for the next couple years to obtain all required Firefighter and Paramedic certifications.
Throughout CFD, 9 members were able to attend classes to further their education beyond the required certifications needed. These classes included Fire Officer 1 & 2, Fire Investigation, Scuba Diver Certifications, Rescue technician, and Fire Safety Inspector. Additionally, one member obtained a degree in Fire Administration.
Going into 2026, we are looking forward to the future and will strive to continue to better ourselves everyday to continue to provide the best care possible.
