(12-24-25) On Christmas Eve morning two juveniles, ages 13 and 14, burglarized a residence in the 700 block of Harrison Ave. The juveniles took at least one Christmas present from the residence. They were unsuccessful in entering multiple other residences in the neighborhood. They then attempted to burglarize a residence in the 700 block of Davidson St., where they were detected. The incident on Davidson St. was reported to the Defiance County 911 Center around 6 a.m. The juveniles were found a short time later and detained.

The investigation determined the juveniles were the same individuals involved in the burglary on Harrison Av. and the attempted burglary on Davidson St. Both juveniles were taken to JDC until their initial appearance in Defiance County Juvenile Court.
