(12-18-25) Today Ronda Shelby officially retires after 59 years of superlative service and commitment to St. Marys City Schools.

She also helped to reconstitute the MHS Alumni Foundation in 2019, bringing her unique energy and enthusiasm and insight to our Advisory Committee, especially with the Hall of Fame program. She in fact is a member of the MHS Hall of Fame, inducted in 2008 for Service to St. Marys Schools.

In honor of her years of service and with the love all of us have for her, we have established an annual $1,000 scholarship in her name – the Alumni Foundation Ronda Shelby Excellence in Education Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to an MHS senior student or alumni who best represents the values of hard work, integrity, community service, and a passion for this school, its students and our community.
