(12-13-25) Throughout the basketball season, the Fort Recovery Academic Boosters will recognize seven deserving students for their commitment to excellence beyond the athletic playing surface. These students receive a plaque as well as a $20 Merchant Gift Certificate. Giving the award last night was Social Studies teacher, Brad Evers and High School Principal Ryan Steinbrunner.

The winner of last nights Academic Booster Award in Social Studies and Business was Indian senior Jameson Heitkamp. Jameson is always willing to participate in class discussion. He has a great knowledge of current events and history, and is a big part of a great class environment.

Outside of the classroom, Jameson is a member of the Ft. Recovery Boy Scouts and plays alto saxophone in the band. He is a member of the Drama Club, Chess Club, Thursday Game Club and is in the National Honor Society.

Jameson is the son of Travis and Stacey Heitkamp. After graduation, Jameson plans to pursue a degree in Radiographic Imaging at an undecided college.
