(12-12-25) The Mercer County EMS announced that they have acquired two new ambulances.

One unit was purchased using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from the Mercer County Commissioners…the other was funded through revenue generated from patient transports.

One of the new ambulances will replace a 2010 unit (a remount of a 1995 ambulance) at the Celina Fire Department. The 2010 unit is bet transferred to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office to continue serving the community.

The second new ambulance replaces a long-serving 1999 unit, which will now be assigned to Coldwater EMS.

The two outgoing ambulances served Mercer County for 56 years.
