(12-8-25) On Saturday December 6th, 2025, the Williams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a Domestic Dispute in the Village of Edon just after 7:00pm.

Prior to law enforcement arrival, the suspect, Zachary McCague, left in a black, Dodge Journey. A deputy located the black Journey Zachary was driving and attempted a traffic stop. Zachary failed to pull over and a pursuit began. During the pursuit, Zachary struck a marked Sheriff’s Deputy’s cruiser with his vehicle. Deputies were able to box Zachary’s vehicle in, bringing it to a stop.

While ordering Zachary out of the vehicle, Zachary used the vehicle to strike a deputy and continued to flee.

Zachary’s vehicle was located behind the Marathon in Edon, but Zachary was no longer in the vehicle. Multiple agencies began patrolling the village of Edon for Zachary, but he was not located.

A warrant for Zachary’s arrest has been issued and anyone with information regarding his location is asked to call the Williams County Sheriff’s Office at 419-636-3151.
