(11-24-25) The Darke County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Ohio Soybean Council and local farmer and representative of the Council, Chad Warner, for providing us with a set of Goodyear Eagle® Enforcer All Weather™ tires. These tires are engineered with soy-based rubber compounds for year-round, pursuit-rated performance. The tires are provided by the Ohio Soybean Council as part of their Patrol with Soy program to donate a set of soy-based Goodyear tires to each of the 88 county sheriff’s offices across Ohio.

According to information provided by the Ohio Soybean Council, replacing petroleum-based materials with soybean oil provides improved cold-weather flexibility with better traction in wet and snowy conditions and is a more cost-effective alternative. Tires made using soybean oil have been on the nationwide market since 2017 through a research partnership between Goodyear and the United Soybean Board. The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is proud to work in partnership with our local agricultural and soybean producers.
