(11-16-25) On November 15, 2025 at approximately 12:22 pm deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Willis Rd. Greenville,OH, reference shots being fired at, and into a residence. This was part of a domestic dispute at the residence.

The suspect was identified as Dante Genovesi (32) of Arcanum,OH. Dante left the area prior to deputies arrival. A be-on-the-lookout was issued for the suspect and sent to numerous agencies who assisted in the search for the suspect. The suspect was apprehended by Georgetown, KY Police without incident.

Dante is charged with Felonious Assault and is waiting extradition to the Darke County Jail. No one was injured as a result of the shots that were fired.

This incident is still being actively investigated by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
