(11-10-25) An Amazon semi tractor-trailer driven by Palvinder Singh (37) of Indianapolis, came partially to rest in a pond in Wapakoneta following an early-morning crash Saturday.

The Wapakoneta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Singh was traveling westbound on U.S. 33 and exited onto the ramp headed southbound toward County Road 25A.

Singh drove off the roadway and struck a ditch, causing the semi to overturn and come to rest in a retention pond near the Wapakoneta dog park.

Singh was not injured. Drug or alcohol use was not believed to have contributed to the incident.

The Auglaize County Emergency Management Agency was on scene for several hours.

Crews found no discharge into the retention pond other than a small amount of fuel and motor oil, which was quickly contained and removed from the pond.
