DETROIT (11-8-25) — The FBI has now arrested a sixth suspect in an alleged terror plot, including three men from Dearborn.
Federal investigators believe the suspects charged in a Michigan federal court with plotting a Halloween terror attack on U.S. soil on behalf of the Islamic State had scouted out Cedar Point in Sandusky as a potential targets for and had stockpiled numerous firearms and accessories, along with more than 1,600 rounds of ammunition.

A Six Flags spokesperson declined an interview with FOX 8 News on Thursday, but issued a statement that read:
The safety and security of our guests and associates is a top priority. Cedar Point assisted the FBI on this investigation, as the individuals were recently observed on park property. Although there was no substantiated threat to the park, guests or associates, Cedar Point’s advanced security and surveillance capabilities provided important additional information to investigators. Together with additional third-party experts, the park took immediate and appropriate action to ensure the continued safety of all on property.

Authorities said the latest arrest occurred in Washington state. In a 48-page complaint it names Saed Ali Mirreh (19) who allegedly planned to flee the U.S. when he learned his alleged co-conspirators in Dearborn, Michigan had been arrested.
According to a federal criminal complaint, Mirreh communicated extensively with another suspect, Tomas-Kaan Jimenez-Guzel (20) of New Jersey, about plans to travel from the U.S. to Turkey and onward to Syria to align with ISIS. The pair allegedly shared images of firearms, ISIS propaganda materials, and an ISIS-branded hat, while discussing physical training regimens, evading law enforcement, and pledging oaths of loyalty to the group.
The two men and another man from New Jersey, Milo Sedarat, allegedly communicated with individuals in Dearborn about planning and carrying out an ISIS-inspired attack.
The case is tied to a broader investigation in Michigan in which two 20-year-old men, Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud, both U.S. citizens from Dearborn, Michigan, were charged with conspiring to carry out an ISIS-inspired mass shooting on Halloween weekend in the Detroit area.
