FAYETTE, OH (November 3, 2025) – Friends of Camp Palmer invites all families, runners, and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy a morning of fun and fitness at the 3rd Annual 4K at 4-H Camp Palmer, taking place Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 4-H Camp Palmer, 26450 County Road MN, Fayette, Ohio.

This unique 4K event combines the spirit of outdoor recreation with the beauty of Camp Palmer’s wooded trails. Participants of all ages can run, walk, or stroll the scenic route before joining in a morning of refreshments, ziplining, line dancing, and more. Activities will continue through noon, weather permitting.

Registration for the race is $25 per person, and for those who prefer to skip the run, line dancing, ziplining, and exploring Camp Palmer are available for just $10 per person.

“Over the past few years, funds raised through this event have helped us invest in creating a safe, clean, and engaging environment for Northwest Ohio youth. Every registration helps us maintain and improve Camp Palmer so future generations can continue to learn, grow, and make lifelong memories here.”

Proceeds from the event benefit Friends of Camp Palmer, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of alumni, families, and supporters who volunteer their time and resources to maintain and enhance the camp.

  • 8:00 a.m. – Check-in begins
  • 9:00 a.m. – Race begins
  • 9:30 a.m.–Noon – Refreshments, zipline, line dancing, and camp activities
