Celina, Ohio — Grand Lake Health System is proud to welcome John A. Sharma, MD, MSc, MBA, CPE, FAAFP, DABFM, DNBPAS, to Grand Lake Family Practice & Pediatrics in Celina.
Dr. Sharma brings more than 15 years of experience providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families in rural communities across all ages and life stages. His background includes clinical leadership, population health, and quality improvement, with a strong focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine, a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Alberta, and an MBA in Physician Leadership from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and is a Certified Physician Executive.
Dr. Sharma is actively involved in professional leadership organizations, serving on the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Board of Directors and the Ohio State Medical Association as Vice Chair of the International Medical Graduate Advisory Board.

Outside the office, Dr. Sharma and his family live in Van Wert, Ohio, where they are active in church and community outreach through LifeHouse Church.
