(10-21-25) Hector Hernandez (51) of St. Marys has been arrested and booked into custody on multiple felony charges involving sexual offenses.

Hernandez is being charged with Sexual Battery, and Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor. Both charges are felonies.

Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor – Ohio Rev. Code § 2907.04: A person, who is 18 or older, can be charged with this offense if they knowingly or recklessly engaged in sexual conduct with another person who is 13 years or older but less than 16.

This offense is punishable as a felony of the fourth degree, which can result in a prison sentence from six to 18 months and/or fines not more than $5,000.
