Ryan Quatman

(10-20-25) A former Wapakoneta High School boys soccer coach was indicted on multiple charges involving pornography that includes minors. Ryan Quatman (41) was arrested after the indictment by an Allen County grand jury.

Quatman is facing charges that include two counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, with the first count being a felony of the second degree and the second a felony of the fifth degree.

He was also indicted on 22 counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. Ten of these counts are fifth-degree felonies, and 12 are first degree misdemeanors.

The offenses are alleged to have occurred on or around Febrary 28th and March 1st, 2023. Quatman posted a $75,000 bond after being booked into the Allen County jail. A court hearing has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

Quatman is a teacher of technology and a personal development coach in the Shawnee Local Schools and is currently on administrative leave. Quatman led Shawnee to a 2022 state title.
