The Celina Archway Project has been in the works for over two years, aiming to add 5 decorative archways at key entrances to downtown and the lakefront.

Carrying Jerry’s Legacy Forward, One Arch at a Time

We’re honored to share that, through our partnership with the Civic Foundation and a portion of Jerry Andrews’ generous donation, we’re able to keep the Celina Archways project moving forward.

With Jerry’s support, we were able to fund prints, develop renderings, and provide area contractors with drawings to finalize quotes — ensuring that every step of this project is done locally. From design and fabrication to painting, electrical, and installation, our goal is for each of the five archway locations to be completed by local hands, right here in Celina.

Jerry L. Andrews was a lifelong resident and proud supporter of Celina, dedicating his life to giving back to the community he loved. Whether through his involvement with The Call Food Pantry, his generous donations to local organizations, providing scholarships, or his steadfast support of area athletics, Jerry’s commitment was unwavering. Celina was always home to him.

His generous heart and the time he devoted will continue to touch lives for generations to come, leaving the lasting legacy he so deeply desired. And now, as the new city arches rise to welcome the future, Jerry will be smiling down from above — a part of Celina forever.

The project will be 100% privately funded. Also tax deductible.
