(10-17-25) This fall, our FFA members have vigorously prepared to compete in this year’s soil judging CDE.
To compete in this event, students must pass the county level; they then move on to the district level.

At districts, these soil judgers were able to compete exceptionally well. Josiah Neff got first overall in Rural soils, with Kolt Harner following behind in 12th.
For Urban Soils, Collin Ketchum secured the 7th-place spot, and Sam Tickle placed 17th. To qualify for State, you must be in the top 5 teams, and Parkway was able to do just that.
The Rural team comprised Emmery Temple, Josiah Neff, Kolt Harner, Will Trisel, our Urban team, Collin Ketchum, Kallie Brehm, Sam Tickle, and Austin Knapke.
Congratulations to all of the soil judges this year!
